greenMonitor™ Version 1.00.09 Roadmap
The following items are in plan
for the upcoming Version 1.00.09 release. You may review the
Version 1.00.08 plan to see which features made that product
level here.
The
1.00.09 release will be used to
complete those functions which were planned for 1.00.08, but not
implemented, as well as add functionality that is needed for embedded
device and web server applications. There are no other new
work
items planned for that
release. The 1.00.09 release is planned for Fall 2010.
The Beta test cycle for the 1.00.09 release will be closed to
new
customers. Anyone wishing to participate in the Beta test
cycle
will need to be an existing customer, or purchase Version 1.00.08 and
run that version for at least 30 days.
The next major release which will contain new functionality is 2.01.00, which is planned for Winter 2010/2011. The emphasis of that release will be improved support for environmental sensors, increased use of web services to display component information, and better support for large scale monitoring for installers.
With the announcement of the new OutBack Power Technologies Mate 3 display controller, we will be delaying the release of Version 1.00.9 for a few weeks while we wait for the delivery schedule for that product to firm up. The new release date is tentatively November 15th. We will continue to publish release candidates in the interim.
There
is the potential for a 1.00.10 release to be made in Spring 2011.
The large number of sensor devices which were added for Version
1.00.9, as well as the popularity of the greenMonitor Lite, prevented several work items from being completed.
