Includes an ALIX.3D2 with an AMD Geode processor, preinstalled with the greenMonitor Basic EditionPower Over Ethernet injector).  Suitable for connecting to the AUX relay output of an OutBack Power Technologies FX, VFX or GVFX inverter (cable sold separately).  Memory capacity is 256MB.  Flash drive capacity is 8GB, standard, with both 16 and 32GB capacities available.  Standard connections include an RJ45 jack for 100BaseT Ethernet with integrated Power Over Ethernet configuration and RS-232 DB-9 male connector pre-wired for OutBack Power System Mate 2 serial communication. The product includes a license for the greenMonitor  software, on request.  Power consumption is less than 500ma at 12 volts DC nominal, and powered via 120 volt AC adapter or PoE injector (optional).

The greenMonitor Lite data logger is pre-configured for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) connection to an existing internet or intranet and will immediately begin monitoring an OutBack Power Technologies Mate 2 display controller when connected (specify optional Mate 3 networking interface when ordering).  Configuring with a fixed IP address is available as an order-time option (add $25) from greenHouse Computers, LLC as well as selected resellers.

The video option allows you to view your system directly via the integrated VGA connector and a USB keyboard and mouse, without the need for an additional computer, or to set up a video kiosk for public display.  You can also use a readily available Keyboard-Video-Mouse switch and turn off your high-power desktop computer when not in use, and use your existing monitor and keyboard to view your greenMonitor system.

Recommend memory sizes are based on 3 to 5 years of daily data storage.  Standalone greenMonitor software can be used to selectively backup or remove stored files.

Required for connecting your OutBack Power Technologies Mate display controller to either a computer with a DB9 serial port, or a USB-to-Serial converter having one.  The MATE-6FT-DB9 cable has a female DB9 connector for the computer connection, and a male DB9 connector for the Mate connection.  The cable is wired so that the Mate will begin transmitting data as soon as the Data Terminal Ready (DTR, a commonly supported indication that the computer is ready to receive data) signal is present.  There is no need to program the Request To Send signal to be grounded with this cable.

The greenMonitor Individual Basic software is designed for an individual system owner who requires basic system monitoring and reporting, or whose system is being monitored by our 24/7 remote monitoring service and requires access to their system information. The advanced system management tools, as well as the tools which perform statistical analysis and forecasting are not included in this license level.

The greenMonitor Individual Basic software includes Apple Mac OS™ X, Linux® and Microsoft Windows® operating system installers.  System documentation is included and viewable using a standard web browser.

The greenMonitor Individual Basic software is licensed for a single OutBack Power Technologies installation utilizing a single battery bank and a single Mate display controller monitoring the attached devices, or a single remotely monitored system regardless of the number of attached devices.

The greenMonitor Individual Basic software supports single user access on a local area network.  Internet access is not recommended.

The greenMonitor Individual Standard software is designed for an individual system owner who requires advanced system monitoring and reporting.  A local database option is available for longer term access to detailed system data. The advanced system management tools are included in this license level.  There is limited support for devices from vendors other than OutBack Power Technologies.

The greenMonitor Individual Standard software includes Apple Mac OS™ X, Linux® and Microsoft Windows® operating system installers.  System documentation is included and viewable using a standard web browser.

The greenMonitor Individual Standard software is licensed for a single OutBack Power Technologies installation utilizing a single battery bank and a single Mate display controller monitoring the attached devices, or a single remotely monitored system regardless of the number of attached devices.

The greenMonitor Individual Standard software supports up to 3 different users and may be used to access system data from a local area network or the Internet.

The greenMonitor Individual Advanced software is designed for an individual system owner or sole-proprietor renewable energy system installer who either owns a single system using OutBack Power Technologies or other supported vendor equipment, or who is a small business with a limited number of customers.  Up to 2 separate systems may be monitored. The Individual Advanced software includes all of the advanced management tools and display applications as well as the gmServer individual system monitoring server and device drivers for all supported devices.

The greenMonitor Individual Advanced software includes Apple Mac OS™ X, Linux® and Microsoft Windows® operating system installers.  System documentation is included and viewable using a standard web browser.

The greenMonitor Individual Advanced software is licensed for up to two installations, each utilizing a single battery bank with one or more Mate display controllers or other communications devices monitoring the attached equipment.

The greenMonitor Individual Advanced software supports up to 5 different users and may be used to access system data from a local area network or the Internet.

The greenMonitor Site Edition software is designed for an individual renewable energy installation having more than one battery banks, with one or more Mate display controllers monitoring the devices which are attached to each separate battery bank. Typical applications are systems with more than a total of 10 inverters, charge controllers and battery monitors, each controlling a seperate battery bank.

The greenMonitor Site Edition product includes the gmConsole large scale system monitoring application.

The greenMonitor Site Edition product is licensed for use by a single individual.  Each additional user is $100.  For large installations with multiple users, our Large Business Edition may be a better value.

The greenMonitor Business Edition software is designed for professional installation and maintenance businesses having one or more employees responsible for the installation and maintenance of renewable energy systems. The greenMonitor Business Edition is available in two different licensing levels, one for companies having from 1 to 4 employees, and another for companies having 5 or more employees.

This license level does not include the gmConsole large system monitoring application. A complimentary greenMonitor Individual Basic license is included with the purchase of a Small Business license for three or more employees.

For five to 10 employees, or to include the gmConsole large system monitoring application. Two complimentary greenMonitor Individual Standard licenses are included with the purchase of this license, with an additional license provided for seven or more employees. The version of gmConsole included in this product is licensed to monitor up to 25 separate systems, after which an upgrade to the Monitoring Bundle and pricing is required.

Please contact us for licensing terms if your business has more than 10 employees in need of using the greenMonitor software or if you need to monitor more than 25 systems.

Each employee will have indvidual access to our technical support staff and be able to install the purchased Business Edition product on their personal workstation, as well as the Individual Edition product on a laptop or other portable computer for field use. These license levels do not include support for customer systems (this would be included under the customer's Basic Edition or Individual Edition license), only for the use of the Business Edition software itself by each employee. Business Edition customers will have access to deeply discounted Basic and Individual Edition licenses for six months, after which normal reseller volume-based pricing applies.

The Monitoring Bundle is designed for businesses with monitoring requirements of up to 25 systems. The Monitoring Bundle allows you to immediately begin 24/7 remote monitoring of your customer systems. The license includes a 5 user Large Business Edition license, a starter pack of ten Basic Edition licenses and up to four hours of telephone consultation to help you set up your software and monitoring service.

Each additional 25 system license upgrade includes ten Basic Edition licenses and two hours of telephone or e-mail consultation. Reseller volume discounts apply to bundle purchases. The greenMonitor Viewer may also be used to provide network access to customer systems, without the need to purchase Basic Edition licenses.

All Basic Edition licenses will be sold at the discounted volume reseller rate for at least six months after the most recent purchase.

Our fullest-featured product, greenMonitor Industrial Edition is targeted to large-scale commercial installations which require complete control over the OutBack Power Technologies components.  The Industrial Edition product is the only stand-alone software solution on the market today which gives you complete software control over your OutBack Power Technologies inverters.
