greenMonitor™ Renewable Energy Monitor Software DownloadsReleasesDownloadsPricing ChangeOur client base is changing to include more businesses and we are finding that many of our Individual Edition products, which were priced for residential end-users or installers who are providing them to residential end-users, are now being used in commercial installations. We are going to reorganize our Business Edition products so that they better fit our client needs and reflect our expenses. The most significant change will be to our multiple system products and a new discount structure for single system purchases. Upcoming

This release includes support for individual user accounts, with each user having their own name and password, as well as list of authorized commands.
Please be very careful setting up user accounts as you may accidentally lock yourself out of gmServer if you assign user accounts and don't have your personal passwords set up yet. Additionally, the built in security firewall has been enhanced and repeated failed login attempts will completely "lock out" the originating IP address. For Individual Edition and higher (user accounts are not a part of Basic Edition), you will need to manually create a "guest" user ID with gmAccounts on the gmServer host name menu. The password must be empty and the commands should be "ALL". Make sure you check the check box to enable the account, then save the changes and exit.
If you are a greenMonitor Lite owner and you are having problems locating the greenMonitor Lite on your network, this script can be downloaded into your greenMonitor software directory as "scanHosts.bat" and used to find the device. The parameter is the network address and the command is run as (for example)
scanHosts 192.168.0
You may have to rename the file if your web browser does not save the file as "scanHosts.bat". We will be adding this command to our Microsoft Windows installers when time and our release schedule permits.
This update includes a fix for a problem with the charge controller log file records handling of amp-hours and kilowatt-hours. A fix for Site editions polling for network connected systems is also included.
