Energy Conservation Consulting and Coaching
You've seen them in the stores -- those new energy saving lightbulbs that look like a glass cork screw. Or perhaps you've been told to insulate your attic, windows and hot water heater. With the present economic conditions, we have expanded our focus from assisting clients with solar and wind power installations achieve less dependence on utility grid and generator charging, to helping utility connected customers achieve the same dramatic reductions in electric consumption that are the goal of many off-grid individuals.
We are a full-line energy conservation business here to serve your needs. We offer initial consultations and referrals to solar and wind power installation contractors, home energy audits with referrals to local home improvement contractors, appliance power analysis and overall energy conservation coaching with one goal in mind: reducing the size of your gas and electric bill. Our guarantee is simple: you either save more than we charge you for our services, or our services are free[1].
Programs
Do-It-Yourself Conservation
For customers who feel comfortable making the basic changes we recommend, we offer a Do-It-Yourself package. We provide you with a list of changes, such as lighting and power management, and then we go over your savings at our next follow-up visit.
We-Do-It Conservation
For customers who aren't comfortable making the changes we recommend, we can come to your home and make many of the recommended changes, as well as contact any contractors and manage that business relationship (excluding any actions that require your signature or payment for third party services). We will bill you for the required materials, saving you the trips to area businesses or hours searching on-line.
Coaching
Learning to save energy is like any other learning experience, and both of our packages include three months energy coaching, plus the initial consultation. After our initial consultation and recommendations, we'll review your progress each month, for up to 12 months, once you've received your electric utility statement. Additional recommendations and changes will then be made to keep you on your path to reduced electric consumption.
We also maintain a blog to help you with a wide variety of topics. The blog is available to everyone, not just our customers, as part of our commitment to having a greener planet.

It would be easy to just turn everything off -- the televisions, video players, gaming consoles, computers, all the other modern creature comforts. That's not how we operate. At greenHouse Computers, we aim to maintain your existing lifestyle while reducing wasted energy. We offer creative solutions to reducing waste and our staff stays up to date on the latest products in energy conservation. In addition, our line of low-power computer products can reduce wasted energy while improving performance and functionality compared to traditional computers.
